Task 1: Analyse the Use of Sound Design in Computer Games



. The producer would ask for a medieval type sound that would be created by a orchestra with traditional instruments such as violin, flutes and cello ect. Alongside a choir which also sing in a medieval type harmony’s. The start dialog to the trailer is meant to sound quit old fashioned and to sound like an old wise man.

. The individual instruments would have been recorded and then put together afterwards to make the soundtrack. Then the choir would most likely have been recorded together and then mastered but not to the point to sound monotone and flat but enough to sound vibrant and clear to the audience

. With all these mysterious sounds it gives an antagonising and tense feel to the game play that is desirable to a game like this. Also with the dialog at the start of the trailer it gives it a darker sense of drama and tension.
